Lunchtime Charity Concert.

My school had a Lunchtime Charity Concert today to collect some donations for an old folks' home that is called Rumah Charis, in Relau. The old folks' life that stays there is pathetic. They literally live in containers and they do not have much facilities. So, my school has brought 20 old folks to the school to enjoy some performances from the students. This Lunchtime Charity Concert is also a celebration for Chinese New Year. So, basically, most of the performances has something to do with Chinese New Year. My school celebrates every festive event from Chinese New Year to Christmas. Except for like Thaipusam and Ponggal and Cap Goh Meh and all that, lmao. We only celebrate the main ones. After the performances and all that, we had our pot luck lunch. They were so so so much food!! From the awesome Hokkien Mee to the finest ketupat. And oh yes, I forgot to mention that we were supposed to wear our traditional costumes and it's very exciting to see other country's traditional customes such as Korean's, Thai's, Pakistan's and all. Some didn't wear their traditional costumes because it seems they don't have one, some wore just a top and jeans and some wore prom dresses. I was like, wtf?! How is THAT supposed to be traditional??! By the way, here are some pictures :)

This is our favourite place to hang out in school :)
